Boulder's Choice for Family AND COMMUNITY Development
Since 1981, The Family Learning Center has empowered families and children to change the world through education, community service, child/family development, and health and wellness programs. We partner with the Boulder Valley School District, the University of Colorado, the city of Boulder, and other organizations, as well as volunteers and donors, etc. We primarily work with people like you, who want to join us in creating a world where all children and their families thrive.
With over four decades of experience, we've developed programs that address the whole child while supporting parents and caregivers. Our nurturing staff creates an environment where learning happens naturally through exploration, play, and meaningful interactions.
Our dedicated caregivers maintain a secure environment with controlled entry points, visitor logs, and secure sign-in/out procedures. We prioritize the children's safety while they learn and grow. With our commitment to inclusivity, we strive to make quality education and family support accessible to everyone.
If you want to donate to this special cause, you may contact us today to schedule a visit and discover how our programs help families achieve growth and success.

Testimonials
“All of our four children went through the Center’s preschool. Their teachers were great and really helped to ensure our children were well prepared for public school. We highly recommend the center to all parents” Cecilia M.
Cecilia M.
“I always imagined that my children would have a better future than I…I dropped out of high school. My children attend the Family Learning Center (FLC) and thanks to all the support they received, my oldest graduated from high school. He was the first person in our family to graduate. The FLC is helping my dreams for my children come true”
Linda B
“My self-esteem is higher and it helped me to know what is damaging my health by trying to stop doing some things that I shouldn't and apart from that I love dancing, I love Zumba, I love it and its instructors are the best.”
Sandra s.
“The family learning Center helped to
prepare me for high school graduation
and college. They helped me complete
my college application and to secure
college scholarships. I would not
have graduated from Colorado State
University without their help.”
Daniel S.
“The Family Learning Center says it all in the name it’s a place where everyone is family, it’s a community of people encouraging and learning from one another. For me and so many others
it’s a place we call home, where we learned everything from our ABC’s, to physics, to how to write a campaign speech and how to start a business. It’s the place where I’m constantly learning how to be my best self, from people who care about and support me.”
Maisee X. former student & 3rd grade teacher
"The Center has helped me believe in things that are greater than myself. No matter how little money we have, we know we can always contribute to others to make the world a better place.”
